Introducing...

I am so glad that you came to West Salem Congress. The name of this blog came to me when I was traveling by car in Ohio. I saw a sign that said West Salem Congress and thought that if an entity like that existed during the Colonial period of American history, it would be the one place where witches would get there due. By that I mean, that they would be praised, instead of burned at the stake. As this journal takes shape, you will find that I am a history buff, who believes that there are very few new things under the sun.This blog is the place where witches get their due. It is written from a decidedly feminist point of view. Basically, this blog is a place where I get a few things off of my chest and do it in the spirit of social justice and inclusion.
